Tengo que hacer el postre "flan de españa" para mi clase de español el jueves! Y la receta no se escribe en inglés...se escribe en español! Mi profesor va a comer mi flan! (y todas las personas en mi clase también!) Uh-oh.
(I have to make the dessert "flan" from Spain for my Spanish class on Thurs! And the recipe is NOT written in English...it's written en Spanish! My instructor is going to eat my flan! And all my classmates too! Uh-oh.)
It calls for 11 eggs. Eggs is huevos in Spanish....but that is also considered a naughty word too. Ummm....the same double-meaning that the round bouncy objects kids play with has in English.
Oh, and tablespoon is "cuchara", not to be confused with "cucaracha" which is a cockroach.
That's your Spanish lesson for the night. Anyone wanna try my flan?
